Jocelyn

CHIEF GEOLOGIST

Jocelyn (Josh) Pelletier graduated from the UQAM (Montreal) with a Master's in Science degree in Geology, BSc degree in Management and is a Fellow of the SEG. Professional Geologist (OGQ). He holds 23 years of exploration and working mostly on gold deposits. Boots on the ground, he has visited more than 250 deposits in twelve countries. He participated to the discovered of two porphyry copper systems in Mexico through the last years. He is specialized in metallogeny and structural control of epithermal, porphyry copper system, IOCG and orogenic gold deposits. He explored multiple greenstone belts in Canada, such Abitibi, Timmins, Red Lake, Beardmore, and Rankin Inlet (Meliadine). Josh has many years working with First Nation communities and is a proud member of the Metis community of Maniwaki (Quebec).

Since 2015, through Geogenius Exploration and GTP Research Canada, Mr. Pelletier has solved complex paragenesis and made structural modulization of polymetallic deposits, which added ore resources and longevity to multiples mine projects, such the Stock mine (McEwen) and Cheechoo (Sirios Resources). He held QP Senior roles for MineOro Exploration, Oroco Resource, VVC Exploration, Covemin Mining and Argo Gold. Josh is presently Chief Geologist for Maple Gold Mines.
